iNovah Makes Customer Payment Process Easier for Manitoba Hydro

System Innovators today announced the successful implementation and installation of iNovah in 72 Manitoba Hydro offices throughout the Canadian province. iNovah offers numerous benefits to Manitoba Hydro, but the utility’s most important project goals were leveraging up-to-date technology and providing greater efficiency for their 200 cashiers.
"iNovah makes our cashiers’ lives much simpler,” said Ms. Sheri Huminuk, Customer Billing and Business Solutions Lead. “Previously our cashiers were required to use to two systems and one cash drawer. Now, one system, iNovah, processes all types of payments efficiently and effectively."
According to Ms. Huminuk,”…there’s much more information passed back to the Banner Customer Information System as well as SAP. This functionality assists both our customers and employees with payment information. Add to this list more reporting ability and a better audit trail—which makes finding customer payments easier—iNovah is a dream!”
“We truly love iNovah,” said Sheri Hofley, a Credit & Recovery Cashier in Winnipeg. “It’s very user-friendly, very little training was needed for us and ‘cashing-out’ is a breeze.”
Manitoba Hydro cashiers process over 800,000 transactions per year, totaling approximately $600 million. System Innovators’ Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Kelley Langford, remarked, “Manitoba Hydro was a big win for us; it paved the way for several new clients and many more upgrades in Canada”.
